Kombu Wholefoods opened in Bellingen on the Mid North Coast of NSW on 26th September 2004. The store services both the local commnity and our Australia-wide online community via our online store.
Partners Lowanna and Kevin run Kombu as a social enterprise where environmental and social impacts of the business (including the producrts we sell) is considered equally as important as the usual financial considerations. To that end they also run the business along not-for-profit lines with profits at the end of the year going back into the business and into the wider community.
This site and our online store is run by a great team from the same location as the on-ground store and was developed to ensure easy access to healthy, planet friendly products wherever you live across Australia - we hope you enjoy shopping with us.
